Artist Statement
Because I like what is happening with the pieced version of this quilt, Solar
Harmony will be the first in a series.
Sunlight, the gift from the sun, allows us to perceive all the wonderful colors in our world, the blues of sky and water, the green trees in the forest, and the browns and greens of fields and deserts.
Techniques & Materials
I used SkyDyes fabric for the sky and fused the elements of the sky, trees,
water, and earth.
