Artist Statement
Living color is a part of my life and I draw color inspiration from everything
surrounding me. I incorporate all colors, textures and values into my fabrics.
I personally prefer to use the more subdued earthy colors.
This abstract quilt is meant to encompass the time of year when nature takes a breath to regenerate itself in the preparation for the renewal of growth in the next year.
Techniques & Materials
Hand-dyed fabric using piecing, machine appliqué and machine quilting.
