Instructors for Hire

Friday evening – August 8, 6:30 to 9 pm

This is a wonderful opportunity for you as a guild organizer, or quilt shop owner, to meet and preview teachers. A group of approximately 30 quilt teachers will present their class projects and be available for you to meet and talk with personally. Bring your calendars and book them for your guild or shop.

Instructors for Hire is a new program being offered for the first time at Quiltfest. The presentation portion of the event will begin after the instructors have set up displays of their quilts and class information. Each instructor will have a few minutes to tell the audience about herself and her work while APNQ volunteers present the instructor's quilts or wearable art. At the end of the presentation, all the instructors will be available to meet with program chairs and shop personnel interested in hiring them for classes.

Due to time constraints there will be a limited number of positions available for instructors to take part in this program.

Applicants will be sent a form to fill out and return by regular mail. The presentation positions will be filled in the order the completed applications are received at the APNQ office. The first 30 applications to be received will be guaranteed a slot. A waiting list to fill cancellations will be kept. Remember! Instructors must be APNQ members in order to present.

Registration will be on a first come basis. No Refunds or exchanges. Lost, forgotten, unused or stolen tickets will not be replaced.
For orders received after July 18, 2008, tickets will be held at Will Call.
For Canadian orders, mailing cut-off is July 13.
